The Snowboard Season Is
On: Nanshan Report
Famous Nanshan Ski Resort had
its official kick off over the weekend. With the main slope open, its
free week for all riders to get their legs back at no cost. We fly in
our park construction crew on December 9th from Austria and will be
officially open to the public the following weekend. Get ready for our

With the grand opening of the
Miyun section of the Jing Cheng Expressway last month, Nanshan is now
THE NEAREST resort to Beijing City! It's only a 20 minute drive from 3rd
ringroad, so get in your cars and see you at Nanshan.
The resort with China's finest snowpark is now also the closest…
Quiksilver Season
Opening Party – November 18, Suzie Wongs
The Quiksilver Season Opening
Party went off last night in Beijing with over 1400 people coming out to
have a few drinks and check out the latest Pirate flick ‘Lubedence’. The
spot was jam-packed, surpassing
all expectations and once again proving that snowboarding in Beijing is
an ever growing scene. Suzie
Wongs put together a super sick venue, decking out the club as if winter
was in full swing, even bringing
in a snowmobile and lift chair for effect.
The party raged until the early morning, put to the sound of Beijing’s
best foreign DJ – DJ Chozie and
China’s undisputed DMC Champion DJ Wordy. Young Kin spat his
multi-lingual lyrics and Ben (Sinealadc)
and Xiao Mo put on a graffiti show out front. Everyone had a blast and
as the crowd thinned out, the entire
place turned into a giant dance floor with Beijing’s snowboarders and
businessmen cutting up the same
rug as if they were one, all brought together by snowboarding and a love
for winter.
With Beijing’s best riders and all the familiar faces of the areas
snowboard scene present the winter welcome mat was officially laid out.
The Quik and Roxy snow team, as well as the GDR Crew, the rest of the
snowboard industry and friends partied like it was 1999. Kane talked
tickets and William got the award for most drunk Burton rep at a party.

Quiksilver Season
Opening Party / Pirate Movie China Premiere – November 18th
Beijing, CHINA – Mellow
constructions is bringing its famous Season Opening Party to a more
civilized
location. The World of Suzie Wong, the world famous night club that
hosts celebrities like Shaquil O’Neil
and Colin Farrel will take care of a different crowd this Nov 18th. The
Snowboarders.
You don’t want to miss your chance to get your drink on and gossip with
all the big-wigs of the industry. Quiksilver is throwing down a huge
spread to commemorate the launch of their Beijing stores, including
free booze, entertainment and maybe a prize or two.
To get the party started, DJ’s Wordy and Chozie will be hitting the
decks, while Andreas gets on the mic to
spit ill Beijing lyrics.
Pirate Movie Productions new flick ‘Lubedence’ will hit the big screen
at 11. It’s the newest DVD from Pirate Movie Productions, one of the
most anticipated videos out this year. Don’t miss it.
So come on over and join us, have a beverage or nine and pray
for…well…cold. It’s almost that time to start
up the snowmakers and make this brown land white again. Hallelujah!
